In just 5 days, you'll see a large savannah overflowing with the Big Five, lakes alive with colorful birds, and woods and parks teeming with rhinos, leopards, giraffes, and other animals. This safari is a celebration of Africa's diversity, taking you from the cold, blue waters of Lakes Naivasha and Nakuru, which are home to flamingos and hippos, to the Masai Mara plains, which are home to lions and wildebeests. Your safari starts here, and we're so excited to be here with you. Meet your guide and ask any questions you may have. Then let's go out together and go on the safari you've been waiting for.

Welcome to one of the best safari destinations in Kenya. Here in the Masai Mara National Reserve, you're almost certain to see lions, hyenas, hippos, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas and zebras, not to mention the more-than-500 species of birds that have been recorded here. There's also a good chance you'll encounter leopards and cheetahs, while you might also see black rhinos in the Mara Triangle. Another memorable thing about visiting the Masai Mara is the landscape of vast savannah grasslands with plenty of flat-topped acacia trees.

Day 3

Lake Nakuru National Park

You'll be visiting Lake Nakuru National Park, and it's a brilliant park to visit. There are so many highlights to look forward to. When it comes to wildlife, there are tree-climbing lions, endangered Rothschild's giraffes, and flamingos in varying numbers on the lake. This is also one of the best parks in Kenya for seeing both black and white rhinos. It's a beautiful park as well, with amazing views from the Out of Africa Lookout (some scenes from the 1985 film of the same name were filmed here), as well as waterfalls, acacia woodlands and pretty lake panoramas.

Get to know Lake Nakuru National Park on a guided game drive. We'll take you out in a safari vehicle with an expert guide to go looking for the park's lions, rhinos, flamingos and more.

Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge

Lodge Inside Lake Nakuru National Park

Stay in a pretty tree-filled valley and get the best of all possible worlds inside Lake Nakuru National Park at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. You're in the heart of the park and close to any wildlife action, but you're also away from the crowds. The lodge has excellent facilities, including classically styled safari rooms, a good restaurant, a bar and a swimming pool. Enjoy also the gift shop and the views from the terrace.

Lake Naivasha

You'll visit Lake Naivasha and have the pleasure of exploring this pretty, high-altitude Rift Valley lake. There are lots of attractions, especially along the southern lakeshore. You might even see hippos, giraffes or zebras. But Lake Naivasha's greatest appeal is the lake's natural beauty and the variety of experiences you can have while you're here.

Facilities are outstanding, with everything from a swimming pool, fine restaurants, and a bar to a well-regarded onsite spa, a children's playground, and even a Maasai museum. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated and the whole place has a real touch of class.
